Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge the land on which we work and gather in the Anishinaabeg Territory as the traditional territory of the Michi Saagig (Mississauga Peoples) of the north shore of Lake Ontario, a branch of the greater Ojibwe Nation. We offer our gratitude to the First Peoples for their care of, and teachings about, our earth and our relations and recognize our shared responsibility for the stewardship of this land. May we honour those teachings.
